Why Twin Peaks and Coffee are idea's that fit perfectly together

The number one reason for Twin Peaks and Coffee to come together is that Coffee come from Ethiopia. Coffee originates there and was founded around 1671 (well, the first time it was put in writing). Since coffee is from Ethiopia, I thought the two would go hand in hand because of the "twin peaks" stance, the mountainous land that surrounds and is throughout Ethiopia and the vast amount of referencing of coffee through out Twin Peaks.

This is Inspector Dale Cooper. Dale is the main reason for the referencing of Coffee throughout twin peaks. This is because Dale is a big coffee enthusiast (to say the least).

This is from one of the Twin Peaks Coffee Cup advertisements. I have snipped to this scale because this is the reason for the huge circle in the centre of the design for my logo. That being said, it is tempting to put the handle on and even possibly some heat coming from the cup, somehow, to make it more identifiable.

"Damn fine cup of coffee" A quote any Twin Peaks fan or watcher will know.
The Following are Previous Coffee Mug Designs
This is probably the most obvious twin peaks cup ever in existence. It isn't overly exciting, but it is quite appealing to 'fans'. However, because I am not actually aiming to put 'Twin Peaks' anywhere (since that could potentially stump sales) - This mug doesn't especially apply to what I am hoping to create.

Very simple but somehow very exciting, I would say to this mug. The simplicity is very appealing and the quote is relatively subtle since I'm sure nobody who hasn't seen or dislikes twin peaks will know the quote. The cup itself is relatively bland, but maybe that is a possible positive with the cup.

I'd prefer this as an actual logo. That being said, it is both their logo and mug design! However, I do think that it is too blatantly obvious that's twin peaks, but that's their aim so they're very okay when it comes to that. The actual design itself draws me in personally, mainly because I am very drawn to illustrative little drawings and the unique design of non-perfect manufactured designs. I think a lot of people are now drawn to this, mainly because people are striving for a lot of individuality and the aim for unique gifts as appose to high brand, expensive and clones.
