Unused Illustrations for Woodkid

As much as I adore this piece I have created, I have chose not to use it because it's one of the weakest compositionally. I like that I incorporated a black out sector, but I don't think it works in the space that I chose. The obscure shape derriterates the eye from the main focal point, therefore substantially weakening the over-all composition.

I really dislike this one. As much as I think I could've made it work, I don't think that it really came as a strong illustration. The line work leading to the hanging Polaroids definitely is the strongest part, however the actual focal point (the rabbit) is a poor illustration in itself because the eyes aren't straight, the added linework within the illustration doesnt really look extremely well and the feet aren't too straight.

The problem with this one that I regret not placing the middle woodkid face in the centre. I kept the scraggley illustration composition because I really enjoy the look by Keaton Henson that I've previously stated. The tree's could've turned out a lot better than they are at the moment. If I was to re-do this I'd have made sure that everything was compotitionally better through using a pencil first instead of automatic pen work.

I love this heart and I did however end up using it but very small. I didn't use it to be a focal point especially - but i did use it as a very small centre piece in the wood woodkid peaking shot. I love where it is in the actual image and I love the final of this, but as it stood at this point I didn't really enjoy the black background of it and I don't really enjoy how wide the upper and below part is where the tree's are.
