Shrigley

I love Shrigleys doodles because they're very uniquely intentionally shit. I love that they're very doodle-like; that they're very automatic and can be quite funny. I like the other page, too where he's listing things. I think that would be a good idea for a piece: turning it into general every day speech.

I really like this man he has drew and created. I like that he's lacking shape and that he doesn't have a shape nor form too him. I really like his face, too, because it gives you the impression that he can't actually be somewhat human. His eyes don't really look like eyes but they can be acknowledged as eyes; the hairline is odd and the forehead is the main focus of the face. But I like it because of it's imperfect intentional shitiness. I also lose the boots. God damn, those boots.

This is very Anastasia Tasou. I love that this is something that isn't really human at all and it's unbelievably simple. I like that the figures are strong charachters and I really like that they take up the whole space at the bottom of the page with the yellow paint - I think it compliments the negative purple space above.
